Saracen 16 Posted May 10, 2006 The last game(s) I "aquired" was C&C The First Decade for free thanks to EA  Still waiting for mine, everytime it gets delivered, I ain't at home! So I spoke to Aaron and told him to hold onto it, and to wait a for a week when I'm not gonna be at work. As far as my games go, well I dug into a bargin bin just last week and picked up Ground Control 2. Since I somehow misplaced my original copy, so I'm playing through that at the moment. Sonic 296 Posted May 11, 2006 Last game I purchased was Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter for PC. Should be in my letterbox tomorrow morning From what I understand the Xbox 360 version of GRAW is the best out of all major platforms released. The PS2 version is the worst apparently. And good to see you around these parts again Shocker Share this post Link to post
Shocker 0 Posted May 11, 2006 Cheers Sonic . My uni workload had gotten pretty intense a few years back, and I wasn't coping well at all--so I basically pulled a DeXtr3me and vanished for a while, lol. It's good to be back, and to see that CNCNZ is still going. Re. GRAW: From what I can tell, the Xbox 360 version is indeed way more optimised. The PC version needs a huge amount of CPU/GPU horsepower to run smoothly, but on the upside it has larger maps, more detailed textures and (allegedly) better AI. BTW folks--if you like C&C (and who here doesn't), you owe it to yourself to try out Act of War. I picked up the expansion pack a week or so ago, and it's *awesome*. Share this post Link to post
Azrael 0 Posted May 17, 2006 New games purchased: Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries and Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition... I love using my Fafnir equipped with 2 Long Tom Artilleries to blow up light mechs... Share this post Link to post

Saracen 16 Posted May 17, 2006 I love to root through the bargin bins and car boot sales for games. The new one's don't do as much justice as the old development days. Somehow I keep losing my old RTS games. So on Sunday I got myself a copy of Warcraft 3 and the Sudden Strike Anthology. I think, I lent out my copy of Sudden Strike to a Friend. The friend who got in debt, his house raided by debt collecters and him slung in jail for refusing payment. But I'm not complaining I got all the Sudden Strikes for £1 I'm just waiting for Field Commander on the PSP. I'm looking forward to this game big time. Well of course, I wouldn't have created a website for it if I didn't  Share this post Link to post
