Recommended Posts

Gamestop.com have listed the details about the Command & Conquer 3 Pre-Order Pack. It also includes a small preview of the what box art could look like. And yes that's Kane on the box, in all of his green goodness. This was confirmed by Predator on the Official C&C 3 Forums.

The pre-order pack will contain:

  • I'm guessing the box art is still subject to change but it looks like Kane is on the cover though.

They're thinking if it'll be viable enough to add one either within the manual itself, or separately.

Anyway, one thing I'm suprised isn't the talking point yet is the ring Kane is wearing. I swear I've seen it in a teaser trailer somewhere as well.... Any ideas what it's relevance is?

I dont care about the ring, the box, or the stupid 3. Im pre-ordering this game because its the C&C game I have been WAITING FOR, its got a great deal, and BECAUSE ITS C&C.

Pre-ordering I don't get some people sometimes. They preorder months ahead of time. I preorder two days before it comes out. Whats the diff? :P

Seems they're just giving away good old C&C1. Wouldn't it be funny if people thought that was C&C3! hahah that would be a laugh. ;)

"Command and Conquer Gold, the complete game"

right... won't that be "Command and Conquer Gold, the complete, 100% original and thus unfixed game"?

Or would they at least make a new installer for it that doesn't need compatibility mode, and add the THIPX32.DLL right away? (preferably Scorpio's version)

I noticed the ring too. In one of the trailers it seemed to be focused in on for a bit. Maybe it's his link to the scrin or gives him his ability to teleport.

Well whatever it is, it must have something to do with the Alien Race. Makes me wonder ya know if the higher god created him for the purpose of advancing the human race as a species to counter the Alien threat.

If Zee Hypnotist doesn't come back with info on this ring. I'm gonna have to dig it out of Apoc/Predator, or whatever he chooses to be after the summit :P

well i wan a bonus dvd with the making etc. and i dont want it to be a cheap knock off like TFD. and yes o notice the ring what is up with that? and i hope the manual is made on that good paper not the sh*ty paper that MOST WANTED, and CARBON are mad on, and it better be a big manual like RA1. and i want EA to not install Direct X every time i want to install a game, jezz i have a better version of Direct X, and they seem to think i need an old version install with out telling me man that ticks me off.

I think that what he meen is that its the same version of C&C (Tiberian Dawn) that is on the First Decade release. C&C Gold is the Win95 version of C&C Tiberian Dawn. C&C Gold also includes the Covert Operations mission disc.
