An Expanison for Red Alert 3?

Hmm...Yuri's Revenge, Kane's Wrath, how about for an expansion we have Yuriko go on a one girl mission of vengence against first the Empire and then the whole world? The designers are clearly anime fans, the air units are remiscent of Macross. Maybe they could work in an anime apocalypse were Yuriko to succeed.

i dont' know, originally a few years back (like 4-5 years ago) i thought Red Alert was goign to be connected to the CnC world... guess that's not happening that quickly... if it is, the vice-pres could be kane... who knows...

 

yeah, as for the expansion, it's a no-brainer. we're talking about EA here.. they create games, littered with bugs and problems, dish out patches... until the patches start making sense, then create an expansion to clean up their mess, and make more mess...

 

If it's goign to be along the lines of "revenge", truely hope it's ackerman's revenge cause if you look at Kane's Wrath, and Yuri's revenge, it always has to do with someone from the "bad" side. Ackerman is a japanese spy robot, so why not have a robot based army? it seems to always go that way anywys XD

First of all, nice spoilers you have there.

 

Secondly, I was of the belief that the EotRS had nabbed the real president and replaced him with a spy bot (yeah, I'm pretty sure he is a complete robot, he was sparking and shaking when the emperor 'pulled the plug' so to speak).

Now though, I'm not so sure that there ever was a real Ackerman, maybe he was a plant all along. That would be some scam to pull off, but this is Red Alert, anything can happen.

Einstein went back to when Hitler was released from prison in 1925 and assassinated him. Grodenko went back to 1927, after Hitler was out of the way. But that would mean of course that Einstein could not have gone back to kill Hitler and...oh no I have gone all cross eyed.

I at least hope that there will be again brilliant videos like in the times Westwood was doing them.

What I especially miss are scenes where new weapons get introduced - like .e.g the Chronosphere in RA2 by Einstein and such things.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Unit introductions. They really add personality to the units. I think this has been part of Hagren's complaint, that the FMV are used mainly for briefings and not for story development. Most plot development was done in game... it would be nice to have 2 or 3 cgi movies to introduce different phases of the campaign... factionvfaction introduction and then factionvfaction victory fmv for instance.

 

I still want to see more cgi at the end of the campaign rather than at the start.... majority of people have seen the intro cgi in all the pre-release trailers and marketing strategy - even if they are not die-hard fans like us.

in the red alert time line there is no hitler nobody knows about his him living ecxept enstien

and the other guy but they were awamted for the RA3 uinverse so hitler and enstien are gone

I'm refering to more on how much more things have changed when the soviet trio tampered time from RA2/YR timeline. All we know is that Einstein "disappeared" (chrono dust), causing the soviets to lose nuclear bombs and so on. I would love EA to explore more on the mysteries of FutureTech, and how they got the Chronosphere designs and so on.
