Mina Synd 0 Posted November 7, 2008 if only they would show the elections here ;-; even i'd join in on that drinking game. so long as someone told me who was who >.>; wow if there had been an obama/mccain drinking game i probably would have OD'd by now on how many times obama said "yes we can" XD Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted November 7, 2008 so ture, we all go to vote today, i will post the outcome in this post to bill and ben party long live the throw away vote Share this post Link to post
BioBen 3 Posted November 7, 2008 As there is about 2.5 million enrolled to vote, they need to get 125,000 vote to get over the 5% thresh-hold. And if they do they will get 6 seats, but because they only have two mps parliament will shrink by 4 seats Share this post Link to post
Mina Synd 0 Posted November 7, 2008 don't underestimate them xD and y'know... if they do get the position they'd probably just "recruit" the local drunks at their favourite bar an get them as MP's xD that sounds like the kind of thing they would try, just because it would be kickass. My dad is lazy when it comes to voting so if he does vote its something odd, this time it was the aotearoa legalise cannabis party for him. Sonic 296 Posted November 10, 2008 This country is really ****** now Under the incoming National government the rich are only going to get richer and the low income wage earner will get taxed to hell and back. Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted November 10, 2008 Such are all corrupt Governments under a Capitalist system. It only gets worse for every electoral term. Those who do not comply with the way the system works will eventually be bumped off by economic hitmen. This is why Obama will not see another election, Some change will be allowed, but he will eventually be eliminated in some form or another. If you take a look through History, those who have tried to help and sustain the best interests of their people have not lived to see their visions through. Share this post Link to post
Mina Synd 0 Posted November 11, 2008 ain't that the truth. at least bill an ben managed to get 10k XD if they keep at it and keep up the propaganda who knows, maybe a few more elections down the line they'll win xD keep up the faith! anything is possible. i mean just look, half a decade or so ago in the UK "jedi" became a real religion because everyone put it as their religion on the national census XD it got enough votes and really became a religion ^^; (i gotta admit, i was part of that >.>; ) obama probably will be killed. question is who will get there first, the government or the white nationalist extremists... either way eh... :\ i really hope he doesn't die ._. he could do so much... Duke 0 Posted November 11, 2008 But even, Saracen, in an anarchistic world there is still a *system*. You have to be strong enough to look after yourself, your family. Even if there is no political system in place there is still a system to the chaos that has to be manipulated in order for your own personal survival. There is always a system and those that can understand, crack and manipulate that system to their own personal requirements will emerge at the top of the economic food chain. That's just how people function. If you are try to go against the system you will lose. In this world, any possible society is still a system and if your ultimate goal is fighting the system you will lose.... Agents will come for you Share this post Link to post

Try moving to dutchyland, it's quite socialist here tbh. If you don't work here, you still get money, how's that for a capitalist country Edited November 11, 2008 by Inferno Share this post Link to post

Inferno 22 Posted November 12, 2008 Well it's only if your 23+, and I think it's 70% of minimum wage, so it's just enough to feed yourself and pay the electric bill Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted November 12, 2008 Well it's only if your 23+, and I think it's 70% of minimum wage, so it's just enough to feed yourself and pay the electric bill Do you get it whether you already have money or not? I mean if you can only be broke... But if not having a job and being 23 are the only requirements, I might need to learn Dutch. Don't worry about setting up another room for me though, I'll find my own place... if DD is staying there... yikes! Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted November 12, 2008 I think you get it either way, but I must warn you, taxes are kind of high here. Share this post Link to post
