Happy New Year from CNCNZ.com

[Sonic 302]

As I type this we are just a matter of minutes from the start of 2009 here in New Zealand. It is a this time where I officially sign off for another year and summarise the year that was in 2008. I won't go into to much detail though because its already been covered in our Year in Review article and the December edition of the Roundtable. But I will say that I'm extremely pleased and proud with what we have done with CNCNZ.com in 2008. Our news coverage has been spot on, we focused on modding much more than we have done in previous years. We have attempted at expanding our video content with LiveWire. And don't forget the monthly Roundtable Discussions either.

Time for my quick credits list once again, without the support of these people things would be very tough around here.

• Full credit to the CNCNZ.com support staff for their efforts on the site and forums.
• Brilliant hosting from our friends at Freedom Studios/Revora.
• Thanks to everyone I met at the RA3 Community Summit back in June, it was a blast.
• Massive amount of credit to our community manager, APOC. Everyone in the community owes some thanks to him.
• And finally thank you to all the visitors and members on our forums who submitted files, artwork, wallpapers and anything to be posted on the site.

With all that said, I'll end this by saying Happy New Year from CNCNZ.com, and join us in 2009..... because we are only just getting started!

Happy New Year every body! Now who knows the actual words to Auld Lang Syne?

[ApornasPlanet 10]

Happy new Year!

[Nmenth 292]

the actual words to Auld Lang Syne?

(As far as 'actual' is concerned, these are the original words, but if you meant in plain English, well then, these are not them, but I can get them too.)

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

And never brought to mind?

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

And days o' lang syne?

CHORUS:

For auld lang syne, my jo,

For auld lang syne,

We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,

For auld lang syne.

And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp!

And surely I'll be mine!

And we'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,

For auld lang syne.

CHORUS

We twa hae run about the braes,

And pu'd the gowans fine;

But we've wander'd mony a weary foot,

Sin auld lang syne.

CHORUS

We twa hae paidl'd i' the burn,

Frae morning sun till dine;

But seas between us braid hae roar'd

Sin auld lang syne.

CHORUS

And there's a hand, my trusty fiere!

And gie's a hand o' thine!

And we'll tak a right gude-willy waught,

For auld lang syne.

CHORUS

Anyone watch those daredevil jackasses on ESPN? One guy tried to flip a truck and another broke his hand on his bike from dropping 100 feet.
