Plok 327 Posted June 24, 2014 That one had all discs included individually. TFD and TUC were (horribly) reworked and bring coding (and errors) of their own Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted June 24, 2014 No, that just adds the question "why was TFD ever in there"? I questioned that when it was first added (don't remember if I questioned it publicly though). Anyway, these are just icons for people to display, it really doesn't matter very much. ("The Arsenal" = Red Alert 1 + The Aftermath. Without Counterstrike ) After playing C&C1 and deciding I needed more C&C, I got The Arsenal. I wasn't even aware of the existance of Counterstrike until years later. Share this post Link to post

Sonic 295 Posted June 25, 2014 Tweaked some of the forum font colours, eliminating a lot of the darker grey colours that aren't technically part of the overall site colours, or colours that have been phased out. Many of the these have been replaced with this blue or just plain white. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted June 25, 2014 The color changes are not quite as visually pleasing as you'd think... Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted June 25, 2014 They seem strange now, but I'm sure they'll seem normal in a couple weeks. Share this post Link to post
Plok 327 Posted June 25, 2014 I do not welcome the change of the thread name colour from gold to blue... Share this post Link to post
Sonic 295 Posted June 26, 2014 I do admit the this blue was coming off to strong. So I've done some more tweaking, looking for a better balance. As I said before I was trying to get rid off the dull grey colours that don't really feature in the main site design any more. Attempting to make sure that anything that's a link is in the gold text. I think it looks better now. If something should be changed feel free to suggest to it. Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 40 Posted June 26, 2014 (edited) I like all the font color changes back to where it were before this. They looked better that way. Edited June 26, 2014 by zocom7 Share this post Link to post
Sonic 295 Posted June 27, 2014 I disagree. I feel I have achieved a better balance, removing the grey text, cutting back on the blues. There is only a small amount of grey text left for a few things. I even fixed the little share icon in the top right corner of each post , it has always been to big and it bugged me. Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 102 Posted June 27, 2014 Huh. So that's what that does. I just right-clicked it and copied the url to get a permalink. Never bothered clicking it. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 295 Posted July 3, 2014 Updated the Media tag. Vine videos and content from Sketchfab can now be embed in your posts. Some samples below. Sonic 295 Posted July 4, 2014 Posts with 5 or more reputation points will now be display with this star icon. Huh. So that's what that does. I just right-clicked it and copied the url to get a permalink. Never bothered clicking it. Thought I better reply to this. The share icon was added during updates to the 3.x versions of IP.Board. Posts where always assigned an ID for a permalink but IPS decided to expand on it some more I guess. So you can still right click to get the permalink, left click on the to get slightly cleaner permalink and various share options. Right Click: http://forums.cncnz.com/topic/16125-various-forum-changes-updates-additions/page-9#entry219781 Left Click: http://forums.cncnz.com/topic/16125-various-forum-changes-updates-additions/?p=219781 Either one works the same way. There is CSS bug that can sometimes make a vertical scroll bar appear when you open the share post window. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 295 Posted July 11, 2014 Well most of them have always been gold, but for a long time it was grey text links that bothered me. So I made effort to sort them out. The only links that are different a the pagination links, they are now blue with darker blue backgrounds. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 295 Posted July 21, 2014 Enabled the "Best Answer" feature for all modding related forums. "Best Answer" feature allows a mod or admin to mark a particular post as solved, hence the best answer to a given question. On the topic view posts will be displayed like this.... When viewing the topic the "Best Answer" will be displayed at the top the page.... We have not used this feature much, but its something I felt would be of use moving forward as more and more people seem to asking modding related questions. If you feel this "Best Answer" feature should be enabled in other forums, please let me know. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted July 21, 2014 "Best Answer" feature allows a mod or admin to mark a particular post as solvedOnly a mod or admin? Or can the topic starter do it too? Share this post Link to post
Sonic 295 Posted July 21, 2014 Only a mod/admin can mark a post as solved. The option is there to allow the topic starter to do it but I think it should a forum staff job. Share this post Link to post
