OK I'm first... basically I've got my wedding coming up in 5 Weeks and 4 days, so I've been busy working on the music for my wedding reception, the first dance and god knows what else.....Lonestar's "Amazed" is the first dance... but anyway, onto my personal taste..

1) Papa Roach - Getting Away With Murder - For god's sake people if you like rock listen to this will ya... This is not the Papa Roach you once knew in the charts back in 2000, Melody and soul is in this ablum and it's great

2) Killswitch Engage - The End Of Heartache - This band has one of the most accomplished black singers in recent years... yes this band is metal.. and before you say that black people don't do metal, listen to this, this guy is just excellent!!!

3) Nightwish - Once - Scandinavian Gothic Opera Singing... Yes my rock & metal music tastes are strange but this band certainly aren't.... I thought I'd check them out and they've been round since 1997. OK, I just have a thing about Sexy Gothic rock chicks, but I won't go into that....

4) Frank Klepacki - The C&C Soundtracks - OK it's C&C in-game music.... But Klepacki's music is an art, I love listening to every track. Act on Instinct, Hell March and the heavy metal track "I am" on Tiberian Dawn are my favourites..

I do have more but these at the moment I'm playing on my CD player alot lately....

Frank Klepacki's music are cool. Love to hear them. Me myself often listened to Japanese music, anime soundtrack, and the "A rush of blod to the head" album from Coldplay.

You can listen to exactly what I'm listening to when I DJ on n00bstories radio. I'm usually on in the afternoons and evenings (GMT). You need to go to www.n00bstories.com and click "128K" when I'm online.

It's not exactly the most up-to-date playlit because I need to convert everything to 96K and I can't be arsed to do that to my latest songs.

Is it me or is the majority of music these days absolutely crap! The new material that's coming out sounds dreadfulI don't just mean pop & rap music, because that's a load a giant horse dung anyway... But in the rock world there's a mainstream genre that's replaced Nu-metal... and it's called EMO!!!

I dunno what it stands for and I don't really care, all I know is that it sounds dreadful... it's a combination of this 80's style indie type rock and a load of depressive droning and terribly composed music..

It's all samey, if there is such a word, it suffers from serious monotomy. It's stale, boring, no real melody or real rhythm.

It's refelcted in my Album collection. At one point I used to buy 2-3 albums a month, as time has gone on it's been an album a month. Now it's 2 or 3 albums a year... and that's only from bands I have previous albums from...

There's no real new raw talent out there which can blow us away. It's all poorly made crap! Maybe it's because I'm not getting older and my music tastes have narrowed down to the bands I have already established as good in my eyes. I dunno.

I love my rock & metal music. Half the fun in listening to it is finding new talent, or bands you never knew existed as you delve deeper into the genre... Maybe I've just gotta get out of this mainstream crap and delve into the underground music again. That's where I found Papa Roach before they were signed to a major label.... The underground rocks anyway, some of the best music comes from there... so long as when I take a look, it isn't EMO crap I'm gonna find

I've done just that and I've found a very interesting Heavy Metal Band from Denmark called Mnemic. They are good quality heavy metal... this band have just made me realise how much I've missed the underground.. Now I just need to find their albums on Saturday so I can add them to the list of currently listening. OK I've already sampled their albums in their entirity, but what can I say :P

Frank Klepacki's CnC soundtracks are my favourites, especially Infrared, Heroism, Nod Crush(TS),HM2,C&C in the House(RA2), Command and Conquer(Renegade), Hell March(RA). Linkin Park is at a close second, then there are various singles from different bands.

I've updated my Playlist recently so it now contains about 30 hours of music!

But i'm not on the air very much because I am obsolutely loving "Hopes and Fears" by Keane and you would prolly get bored of it the 5th time round ;)

You could have told us that without all the smilies. :|

Lately, I've been on a Metallica binge. All their albums I have every day for the last two weeks. I listened to Megadeth a couple times but then I played S&M right after that. I've really gotten into Garage Inc too. Meh, I'll listen to them some more. :P

And then I come along and reduce them down to just one :P Please keep smilies down to a minimum, 8 is more than enough. Anymore and they will disappear.

Anyway... Time for another list on the "Currently Listening" thread I think. :D

Mnemic: The Audio Injected Soul - A Heavy metal Band from Denmark. They have a similar sound to the legendary Fear Factory with the Industrial Cyber Metal theme, but ultimately a very good strong performance.

Kristian Leontiou: Some Day Soon - Now it's extremely rare these days for me to step into mainstream music and pick out a talented Singer/Songwriter who appears in the Top 40 Chart and doesn't sing Metal. Kristian is a 22 year old guy from North London here in the UK and is a very similar style to ex Savage Garden's Darren Hayes. Why I like him I cannot explain, but I just had to buy this guys album. He is simply Raw talent!!

Papa Roach: Getting Away With Murder - Yes I am still listening to this album at least 3 times a week. This is just superb Rock Music and is definately worth a listen, great stuff :P
