Speaking of Xbox's blowing up...here's what Penny-Arcade thought of the matter when Xboxes started blowing up around the States and the U.K...

It will SHOCK you!

:haha:

X-Box 360 has been confirmed for a December 2nd Release date here in the UK... not that I care...

I hate the revolution. It looks like a slimline DVD player... and well the controller funnily enough looks like the remote to a slimline DVD player

Xbox 360 all the way: for some reason I just don't like PS's systems...probably a long-surviving bias for the N64 over PS1

(I asked for it PS lovers  )

yup, I'm more biased towards towards Xbox. while playstation is ok, i like xbox better.... and leaning towards microsoft

the revolution controller design is unique, a bit like a remote control...maybe it'll work, maybe not.... looks interesting about the sensors in it. Star Wars Lightsaber Game oh yeah!!!

Whats teh big deal about the revolution controller anyway? I mean its just a controller in the end isn't it... I mean are you going to buy it just cause the controller can cook eggs and toast in record time?

The revolution controller sucks...ergonomics and ease of use luk3us... it makes a big difference.. which is why the Playstation controller will always be the best for both catergories..

I never liked the PS controller. It was okay but it fell short of being great. Now the Nintendo 64, that was a great controller.

Besides, how can you say the Rev controller sucks? Have you used it? I highly doubt that. The Rev controller is innovative [on the video game front] and will, undoubtedly, put the others to shame. Actually, I'd really like to know why anything that deviates from the "norm" always sucks. Why? What's so horrible about introducing a new idea? Even if you don't like the controller, there will be an accessory that makes it like a conventional controller. Nintendo is thinking ahead here but it would be great if they packaged it all together. Doubtful but it could happen.

It's good to see you guys can afford to buy any of those, while me, I will need to break through my parents if I want one :( My parent won't allow me to buy any game console, at least until I got off from High School, still more than 9 months though. But, I think I will choose PS3. Looks good.

Just cause is "innovative" doesn't mean its going to be popular. Or useful.. I agree that the Nintendo 64 controller was great. But the system it came with had ****e games so it never was really popular...

Sad fact of the matter is that no one is going to buy a system that has ****e games...

They should actually make all controllers USB or PS/2 compatiable... That way I can stick it in the back of my PC... :P

Lol..you do know you canbuy cheap little things that resemble PS2 controllers for computers, right? They're only like, $15 or something. And if you know your stores you can get really good ones cheap as well.

Yes. But those controllers are hunks of junk...

Actually scrub that idea. I like my gamepad better than "other" controllers anyway. ;)

Its a hard decision to chose between XBOX 360 and the Revolution. I have always been a Nintendo Fan but the problem with Nintendo is half the things they plan for never happen here in Australia. The gamecube was origionaly planed to have internet gaming up and running long before sony and microsoft as they made a partnership with sega for them to set it up as the Dreamcast had internet. But inAustralia delays seemed to never end and internet gameing never happend even though games were released that claimbed to be able to be played using the internet adapter.

Eventually i just got sick of delays and the capabilities of the console not being used so i bought an XBOX which i love also. So i guess it will depend on which of the two consoles comes out first

You have got to be ****ing kidding me... Of the 64 and the PS1, the 64 had ten times better games. It had GoldenEye, Zelda: OOT, Perfect Dark, Conker's Bad Fur Day... The 64 had some great stuff on it. The PS franchise characters can't even match Nintendo's.

Then tell that to Xbox fanboys.

The Playstation have 3 iconic figures: Cloud Strife, Sephiroth, and as Madbadger's already pointed out, Solid Snake. Those three characters alone are the reason the PS is just that much better than the 64.. I'm sure there are many more, but those three stand out above the rest.

Goldeneye is just another Bond game. Zelda was good, I admit that. :P Perfect Dark got old fast, and Conker didn't phase me one bit.
