Cygnus X-1 14 Posted March 16, 2006 Waterspout. I saw about 15 of those last year. Typhoon is just another name for Hurricane. Share this post Link to post
rEdaSbLood 1 Posted March 16, 2006 yea i tend to mix those up...erg.. i hate being wrong at science ( my fav subject in school always) :? Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 14 Posted March 16, 2006 Tornadoes tend to get the cyclone name a bit more than hurricanes in the western hemisphere. Then again, if you hear a curse and the name "Andrew" or "Katrina" shouted, then you know theres a hurricane on its way Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted March 16, 2006 There ain't any hurricanes where I'm livin' Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 14 Posted March 16, 2006 Nor where I live, but we get the remnants of hurricanes, as well as tornadoes and whatnot. Well, we are supposed to get tornadoes. I live right in the middle of foothills, so they help to kinda break up the ground. To the West and South however...its brutal. The North too. Share this post Link to post
F15pilotX 4 Posted March 17, 2006 hurricanes are also know as cyclonesHurricanes in the AtlanticCyclones in the Indian Ocean Typhoons in the Pacific I'm pretty sure about that  Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 14 Posted March 17, 2006 and monsoons in the rainy season  ok not really, monsoons are a whole nuther feature of Earths Weather. Back to the topic.... No, I dont believe in Magic. Unless you show me proof. Now what would be awesome is something like the Force. But it aint happening. Share this post Link to post

rEdaSbLood 1 Posted March 19, 2006 ok as for force lightening...well maybe an overload of bad luck leads to something similar... im gona pool the philisophical card..and go ahead and say..its all relative to what you consider magic Share this post Link to post

Doctor Destiny 42 Posted March 24, 2006 actually, its more of a Fenring or a Luk3us move...then again, they would probably jsut put the link, its too much work to copy and paste the whole deffinition  Damn right it is. Share this post Link to post
rEdaSbLood 1 Posted March 25, 2006 well if you want to get technical it would be a BWare move...considering the literal meaning and all that BS Share this post Link to post

VampireA05 0 Posted March 26, 2006 Why Marry em then.. He'd be better of staying single, shouting "Bring on the bitches!" and have the one night stands in abundance. That way you still get what you want without worrying about the stupid cow getting half of what you own. OK this is muslim marriages, but what the hell, when ya single ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Nothing to do with Magic though, he probably had the money and the charm as well as the looks. Which naturally leads to the logical explanation. it was something on 1950's & he's a lower class (a farmer, who had nothing at all but vegies)... the moment he learned the hocus-pocus thing in the morning, he get married to his 1st wife later in the afternoon... it was something like 'semangat(spirit) buaya(crocodile)' or 'croc spirit' Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 14 Posted March 26, 2006 How they turned Sexual charm into Corcodile Spirit....well lets just say, they a need a few tons of bricks to hit them in the head. My guess is that guy is no longer a famer? Share this post Link to post
VampireA05 0 Posted March 27, 2006 dont ask.... we dont have any magic school here to learn that hocus pocus... by the way..he's still a famer who have a hordes of sons & daughters all over the peninsular... Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 14 Posted March 27, 2006 So hes a human farmer without the clonign tech  This may seem a little bit wierd, but when I was in grade school (6/7 yrs to 13/14 yrs old) I attended an private Catholic school. Heres the weird part. I had 3 teachers in a 4 year span you were not Catholic, AND 2 of them said they did things such the the Uoigi (wigi) board. Openly professed it. And those 2 teachers are stilll teaching at that school (I have siblings there now) Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 42 Posted March 28, 2006 Dude, it's spelled "ouija." I only know that cause of ATHF. >_> Anyhow, on topic: Magic is another thing we like to say is real to make life more mysterious. Magic is yet another nonexistant fantasy in our minds. There's simply no proof that it has existed. It's like the supermatural; eg ghosts and spirits. It's a play on the foibles of your imagination. Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted March 28, 2006 In other words: magical things don't exist. Share this post Link to post
rEdaSbLood 1 Posted March 28, 2006 yes they do, but only in our imaginations... its like that movie/book neverending story...where the fantasy world is being destroyed by the nothingness because people are loosing touch with their imaginations.. so my question is to you guys is, if something only exists in one's/many's imagination-does it exist at all? BWare 0 Posted March 29, 2006 redasblood, no. Absolutely not. Magic? Meh... that's an interesting question. I'd say short answer no, but long answer, there is a spiritual side to things... something that could be considered "magical." But for all intents and purposes, "magic" is more often than not a complete joke. Share this post Link to post
