i am currenlty a day away from starting spring break...

 

MY QUESTION IS:

 

What do all of you most strongly prefer to do on 'vacation,' or any long periods of 'free' time?

And then spend the majority of my free time working. Personally I hate free time. It just gets too boring not doing anything constructive.

 

Which is why I never spend more than a few weeks on "holiday". As it should be properly refered to.

good good...ive noticed some similarities..

 

1-goto sleep later and wake up later

2-get drunk alot and hang with the homies

3-work..but not much cuz...its "holiday"...duh

4-improve social life/skills by having more free time..which in turn leads to more time with friends

5-bum around

6-enjoy the irony of the 'battle wound' aka hangover...some reason if im not nautious while hung over...im always in a gooood mood and very happy....hm

7-COMPUTER...MOSTLY GAMES....

My day is so exciting.. here's a weekday in the life of the King

 

• Wake up at 05:30 to the sound of my mobile phone alarm. Turn it off.

[*] Wake up again 5 minutes later to the sound of my wife's mobile phone alarm.

[*] Wake up again at 05:45 cos I always hit snooze on her phone and actually haul my ass outta bed.

[*] After sorting breakfast and a cup of coffee with 3 heaped spoons of coffee (for that caffine kick). I sit down at the PC to come on here whilst eating.

[*] After doing what else I have to do in the morning, I head off to work. Usually becoming high as a kite from the extra strong coffee.

[*] Do a standard 07:30 - 16:30 shift. Or later!

[*] Come home, have dinner, watch some TV, sit on the PC again, and most of the time fall asleep for about an hour.

[*] Wake up around about the 20:00 mark and check out a few sites, then come off the PC and watch TV with the Mrs. If she decides to watch crap, I'll fire up Empire at War or Imperium Galactica 2. Or play on the PSP.

[*] If it's 21:00 on a thursday or Friday I watch Wrestling until about 11. Usually with a small glass of Southern Comfort, or some sort of whiskey or beer.

[*] About 23:00- after midnight. I'll head to bed. Yes I only get 5-6 hours sleep a night, but if it's a day off the next day, I usually won't wake up until very late morning to make up for it.

 

Probably the 3rd or 4th time I've posted this in a similar thread in the last 12 months. But working life is rathe systematic. Days off are different though, I actually do stuff other than what's mentioned above. Unfortunately today is usually my day off and now I'm doing the above schedule. Great! And there's no Rocky Movies on tonight either. Damn!

i think free time is the best in the world...but this is coming from a 19yr old that lives with his family(parents)...although, according to my experience and whatnot, free time is priceless and that fact is a beautiful thing..

met up with cousin that was in military school, "chilld", ended up going to a bar by my college, and finally having a "positive" ride home...due to the fact that i (today) just got a new radio installed in my car which is iPod ready...

What do I usually do different when I have a vacation...

 

- Work: yeah, in the vacation is mostly the only time I DO work....

- Sleep 'till 12.00 - 15.00 hours 'cause I'm lazy

- Do nothin', just boring myself

- Hang out/go out with friends 'n getting drunk

- Spend even more time with friends

- Watch a looooooot of TV, even sh*t like tell sell

- Spend some time gaming on the computer... not too much though, I usually get sick of my pc being so slow :x

- Posting on forums like this and talking on msn

You sillies, work doesn't count as eating up free time. It's not free time if you're working.

 

Anywho, when I have time off, I might be:

- modding

- coding/designing websites

- sleeping

- playing classic console games

- blasting music (Almost have to do this to get anything done right)

course, now that the band is actually playing thats where most of my free time goes. Music.
