I knew it, I damn well knew it....

There seems to be an unusual look to the Scrin we see here. they're a Scorpion style Creature, using the central rear tentical almost like a sting. Now you begin to understand Kane's directives and sheer fascination with Tiberium a little better.

OK it's way too early to make a huge assumption based on a scorpion style Scrin unit, but let's be honest here, too much of a coincidence don't ya think?

I notice the Scrin designs share similarites with the Vrix from Westwoods Earth and Beyond.

niiiiiiiice....

checkout gamespot C&C 3 forum someone got GFW and posted magazine scans and some interesting info:

http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/comman...&pid=932602

plus a ton of new images at:

http://www.gamereplays.org/community/index...howtopic=171556

- Joe Kucan says his next project is a CnC 3 expansion. not sure if he's joking, but interesting.

- the alien units and structures have a very theilaxu look to them (if you played Emperor: Battle for Dune, another Westwood game, you'll know what i mean)

- Steve Jablonsky and Trevor Morris are doing music, they're including "shout-outs" to some of the past games most popular tracks

- graphics are gorgeous, you'll definetely want to run this game in max settings, the graphics are amazing from these screens.

- EVERYTHING is destructible, infantry use a CoH style cover system (ie. objects can be used as defilades)

- harvesters have basic defenses.

- interesting MP feature: there can be alot of spectators, and one player can act as a cameraman/commentator for a match. EA is really trying to make CnC 3 the next big MP game.

- Load times incredibly short (10 seconds)

- Player can get to top tier units in around 8-minutes (this was the GFW editor playing, so could be even faster for leet players)

All of the recently released videos, screen shots and wallpapers are copyrighted material and not allowed for public posting. In other words the guy who uploaded them and posted them on CNC Den broke the rules. Predator sent out this e-mail a few hours ago:

Hey guys,

This is a respectful and polite request that we ask you all please abide by as community leaders.

The trailers on the pre-order DVD are all copyrighted and like any other DVD that someone places money down to purchase, these are EA copyright and not for ripping and posting. I know some of you guys have posted direct MP4 files from Ddrums, and while it’s very cool that he did this service for the community (and we are definitely not angry at him), we are politely asking that you please take down the download links.

The content on the pre-order is exclusive to those who pre-order the game. We will be releasing plenty of trailers, wallpapers, etc later this month and next that are not even on the pre-order disc but also similar as well.

This is a very special pre-order for the C&C fans, a collectors item, and we would really like to see it stay exclusive to the pre-order, not only for copyright reasons, but simply because this is what makes the pre-order special and unique.

So if you could please respect this kind request and take down all download links to the MP4 files or threads on your forums, I will explain on the forums as well so no one has to worry.

This is greatly appreciated.

Many many thanks!

Predator

I did have them posted in the news here at CNCNZ.com but the files were never hosted our server.

I knew the minute I spotted them they shouldn't be made be public like that, if you want to see them you must pre-order the game or buy C&C 3 when it's released.

I'm sure people willl bash EA for this, but it seems very reasonable to me that they want this to stay exlusive to the pre-order. IT's kind of like buying a game, then posting it on the internet for everyone to download free, rather than buy.

I kinda figured it was a leak. It was just too much info to be let out. But it wet my appetite for C&C3 plenty. :D

At first C&C3 videos were spicy and interesting, but they're becoming less and less now.

I'm more interested in concept art and plot leaks than in-game screenshots. And this game better have a mad-powerful plot.

Why plot spoilers? :? That just ruins the game.

I want to see more unit/structure info and concepts.

I wonder though, this 'Pre-Order' package will be shipping with the game, no? Doesn't that make half the features included on it totally redundant?
