Plok 327 Posted August 21, 2011 I got bored, soooooooo.... I made a soundbank for Worms: Armageddon that makes the worms of a certain team speak like our own Tiberium/C&C Lego guys. All possible slots (save for the jumping) are replaced, and here is a sample of what I've done so far. The blue team, the "Zone Troopers" use the aforementioned soundbank, while the green team uses the stock Russian one. Whadayathink? Share this post Link to post

Plok 327 Posted August 22, 2011 Thanks for showing me how AB sucks compared to the old-school Worms @0:32 - Homing Pigeon vs. Bird = epic Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted August 22, 2011 @Plokite_Wolf. Great job! I laughed. At first I wasn't understood what you meant by making the worms speak like Tiberium/C&C legos, but then I heard my voice. Thought it was pretty funny. @Malevolence^ I hate dubstep. But I support this weapon. I think that's all dubstep is really good for. Injuring the ears. Share this post Link to post

Nmenth 291 Posted August 23, 2011 too bad no one plays Worms 2/Armageddon/World Party here. I used to play Armageddon until someone I taught a little strategy to became totally obsessed with the game and couldn't stop playing it even after attaining the maximum rank over and over again. Time to share something educational and informative. Bottled water always has been a scam, vitamin content irrelevant. Coca-Cola worded their statement poorly, it should have been, "No semi-intelligent consumer could reasonably be misled into thinking Vitamin Water was a healthy beverage." You quit because of someone's obsession (which, by the way, is quite understandable when playing pre-3D Worms)? Share this post Link to post

Doctor Destiny 41 Posted August 24, 2011 Time to share something educational and informative. Do they really think I'm going to believe a word they say? Holy ****, that was one of the lamest attacks against the Coke corporation that I've seen in a really long time. It's bull**** disguised as information. Nice try, but they're not fooling anyone but the truly gullible. If you believe this propaganda piece, watch it again and watch how they sneak in that word "organic." It's just another mindless attack against anyone not promoting "organic food." Speaking of organic food, everything you think you know is bull**** too. Take anything these people say with a huge grain of salt. I didn't see any sources either. All we got that was close to anything that could be considered a source is a lawyer saying it "shouldn't be seen as good for you." How about a real source guys? Bet they don't have any. Malevolence 6 Posted August 27, 2011 http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/events/jim-c...ne#.TlkeK6gpg0Q Background On August 24th, 2011, comedian actor Jim Carrey uploaded a video of himself apparently confessing his love and lust for actress Emma Stone. This straight-faced monologue was first uploaded onto Vimeo as a private video and publicly posted on Jim Carrey’s newly-launched website Jim Carrey TruLife.[1] Shortly after, Emma Stone re-uploaded the video onto her newly created YouTube account, which gained over 350,000 views in the span of 48 hours: Quotes “I just wanted to let you know that I think you’re all the way beautiful. Not just pretty, but, you know, smart and kindhearted. And if I were a lot younger, I would marry you, and we would have chubby little freckled-faced kids…” “Every day for the rest of your life, you would thank God that I was the appropriate age for you. But I’m not. I’m 49. I have lines on my face, sometimes a little gray in my beard, and it takes me a little longer to pee than it used to. Those are the only discernible signs of aging that I can find so far." “Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how I felt. You’re pretty special, and I wish you continued success and artistic fulfillment, but most of all, I wish you love and contentment. That’s all.” Development Jim Carrey’s Tweet At 5:57pm (ET) on August 24th, 2011, comedian Jim Carrey posted a link to the video message via his Twitter account: Jim Carrey’s message to Emma Stone http://t.co/GbJ8HnU ;^]less than a minute ago via web Favorite Retweet ReplyJim Carrey JimCarrey Media Coverage Similar to the coverage of Charlie Sheen’s rant during an interview with CBS, news publications jumped in on the story with article headlines like “Jim Carrey’s Creepy Video Love Letter to Emma Stone” and “Jim Carrey’s Midlife Crisis?” from celebrity blogs and entertainment new sites like Entertainment Weekly[2], Hollywood Reporter[3] and New York Magazine[4] to news agencies like AP[5], MSNBC[6] and Washington Post.[7] Reuters[8] also published an article titled “Jim Carrey Launches Web Site, Professes Love for Emma Stone,” hypothesizing the video could have been a public stunt for the launch of his new videoblog TruLife. Emma Stone’s Response Meanwhile, Emma Stone also created a new YouTube account “EmmaStoneVerified” and re-uploaded Carrey’s video message onto her channel with the following comment: See it on my official website http://EmmaStone.me – I was a huge Jim Carrey fan. Now I’m not sure if I should be flattered, or seek an order for protection? lol She posted the video on her personal website[10] mentioning the overwhelming response she received, as well as a photo of her boyfriend Andrew Garfield walking in front of her after dinner with the caption “why is he walking so fast?” 8/25 – Well I guess I’m flattered. -- Update: So I’ve never got this many texts, emails, calls, etc…It’s like a sex tape that I wasn’t even in leaked to the Internet. Jim has been a lifetime idol of mine, and obviously he’s just being silly. Carrey’s Response Following the initial wave of speculations and questions about Carrey’s video on August 24th, Jim Carrey tweeted on the next day explaining that his video was intended to be a joke: Yes, my msg to Emma Stone was a comedy routine and the funniest part is that everything i said is tru. www.jimcarreytrulife.comless than a minute ago via Twitter for iPhone Favorite Retweet ReplyJim Carrey JimCarrey Notable Examples Kathy Griffin’s Message to Justin Bieber On August 25th, comedian Kathy Griffin joined in on the parody video phenomenon by uploading her own titled “Kathy Griffin’s Message to Justin Bieber,” which begins with her saying: “I was so inspired by comic giant Jim Carey that I’ve decided to pledge my love, so this is a message for Justin Bieber."
