We can finally reveal one of the big secrets from last weeks Red Alert 3 Community Summit. The man responsible for all the memorable Command & Conquer music over the years is back for Red Alert 3. Frank Klepacki returns once again, and this time, he's got a present for ya!

 

 

So there you have it. How do you create something better than Hell March and Hell March 2?, you go out and get the man who made them in the first place. Awesome job EA!

When they played this video for us at the summit last week a big cheer was heard all around the presentation room. Everyone there was pleased.

i saw this coming. since the trailers ive felt a positive vibe...and to think at one point i favored the Tiberium universe more than the red alert universe...

 

btw, wrong thread or not and maybe because of this news, a big thanks out to Sonic for everything esp. participating in this comm. summit!

I just got a PM from Frank, and he said he's going to do "at least HM3". So does EA not even apply him for the whole soundtrack? Does anyone know EA's intentions? Because having HM3 from him and the rest from someone else would be crappy.

Hmm yeah. I hope EA will use Frank in the whole soundtrack because it took so long to employ him. I'm not going to buy this if they use Frank only to make HM3 for the fans and the rest of the music is s*it.

Frank is not doing the entire RA3 soundtrack, he is doing Hell March 3 and "some other songs" which I cannot name right now. That said, when our embargo lifts late next week for the community summit, you will learn a whole lot more about our soundtrack and audio. We're extremely excited to have Frank on board in this capacity, and so is he.

 

At the very least, I hope ths pleases you guys, and our other composers on the game are generating some very exciting tunes as well.

Its good news that Frank is doing Hell March, thats a Red Alert trademark. Im happy with someone else doing the rest. I was quite happy with the C&C3 and KW soundtrack, so its all good

I am very excited for Frank's bit, the other composer's, sorry mates but EA promised us music before and we got ambient noises. Just add a jukebox so I can somehow eliminate the others' songs and I'll be content with the soundtrack
