Is RA3 advertised on your National TV?

On the way to school today, I was quite surprised to see the Red Alert 3 commercial on TV Mobile (Singapore's On-The-Go TV on Public Transports) today!

 

I think this is the first time I see such active promotions and marketing...

 

So is RA3 advertised on your National TV too?

Nothing here in New Zealand. The last game that had a big TV adverting run on NZ screens was Halo 3 in September 2007.

Nope, and I doubt I'll see anything. Which is just fine for me, its rare to see TV adverts for games, and the ones that do, suck hard core anyway, so they need all the help they can get.

Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway is getting quite a bit of coverage here. The last C&C game to get any sort of advertising coverage here in the UK was Renegade, before that Tiberian Sun got a few mentions.

 

Suprisingly though there's nothing in the games shops to say Red Alert 3 is on it's way. The games shops are blank with not even a pre-order option (even in GAME), there's no TV coverage or magazine ads either. Either I'm living under a rock, or there's just way too much internet marketing and very little else here in the UK. Well, OK there's that thing going on in London the day before RA3 is released, but that's still small scale in comparison to C&C 3's UK media advertising.

I'm quite worried that EA is marketing in the wrong places- Before CnC3 or even KW shipped, you knew much more about the release, now there are no ads in any print magazine.

Nope. CNCNZ, IGN, GameSpot, and GameTrailers are my primary game trailer providers.

 

Maybe after the release date will they air trailers.
