So you're like standing on top of the ruins of (pic a favorite historical or cool looking building) while the city blazes around you, there are hordes of fighters duking it out in the skies overhead, hundreds of people in the streets fighting hand to hand and gun to gun with the invading troops. You and some ass ugly bastard whose leading the invading Zombies from hell are dueling it out with lightsabers on the burning wreakage (pic your color blade) theres a huge storm overhead, and lightning and meteor raining down everywhere, and a nuke going off in the background...

Whoah! Someone else actually gets it! What we have with tree is someone who believes blindly in a certain religion, which is both foolish and dangerous. Also keep in mind that the Bible's translation is backed by countless thousands of people over thousands of years, whereas the Mormon bible was "retranslated" by one man.

 

Ironically enough, I connected through Salt Lake City when I flew back home from California today, so I was with a LOT of Mormons. It's sad... such nice, moral people, but so misguided.

The Bible is one book. The Book of Mormon is a totally different book. Nobody 'retranslated' the Bible. The Bible is the same one used by the Catholics. The only difference in religious text is the addition of the Book of Mormon.

See? This is why I don't have any faith in any deity or believe in teachings of religion...it just creates petty arguements about who's right and who isn't. I say, either accept each other's beliefs, or shut up, because people who choose not to follow any religion just do -not- care. :roll: And we're sick of all the crap that happens because of religious arguments.

 

Take a look at the Middle East, ferchrissake.

 

How about: We express what religious stuff we believe in, and leave it at that. You know, what we were doing before the whole Mormon/Christian argument started.

you guys. Watch the episode of south park called All About Mormans, and the Catholic bible has a few extra books to it i believe
