Woofna 0 Posted November 15, 2005 I didn't notice Quake 4 came out... How is it? What's the storyline? Quake 2 kicked ass in singleplayer... the intro to the un-expanded Quake 2 was incredible.. Quake 3 singleplayer was sh*t, and the multiplayer version of it got old (no strategy at all) Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted November 15, 2005 Is FEAR really that good? I hear it's amazing. What don't you like about Quake 4? F.E.A.R is so cool play. Fighting the clone soldiers in massive fire fights is just so much fun thanks to the some of best AI seen in an FPS, they will flank you, call for back up etc. You get to use the SlowMo feature to help you out when things get tough... Then you mix in the creepy horror element of the little girl, twisting storyline and and BIG ending to the game. The only bad thing about F.E.A.R is that its a tad short but I think its just right. As for Quake 4, I just find it a little ho-hum, every mission you feel like an errand boy, go at get this and come back to this point, this means retracing your steps over the same part of the level you just got through. The Strogg die to easily even on harder difficulty, gun sounds are to weak. I just expected a little more thats all. I'd give it 5/10. Form what I understand most people are just playing the MP game anyway. f.e.a.r???? wat game is that Check http://www.whatisfear.com and http://www.fearfans.com Share this post Link to post

Acerz492 1 Posted November 15, 2005 I'm playing through Final Fantasy III (or 6 for you purists). Can't beat the classics. Bah. Final Fantasy VII > Final Fantasy III (or VI. Whatever.) in the 'Classics' department. PC games: Final Fantasy VII. CnC Yuri's Revenge (with the CannisRules/Beyond Revenge mod installed). CnC Tiberian Sun (Nod Missions. I've been very slack.) PS2 games: GTA: San Andreas (Second time through. Again, I have been very slack). Planning on getting F.E.A.R. soon. Hopefully my computer can run it. I also wanna get Resident Evil 4. Share this post Link to post
