dw6xl 0 Posted February 3, 2006 I think turok 2 was the best game on n64 besides goldeneye Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted February 3, 2006 No. It was lame. GoldenEye was the best, followed by Perfect Dark... and that ends the good FPS's for the 64. Share this post Link to post
dw6xl 0 Posted February 3, 2006 they were good but turok 2 was also one of the best on n64 and it wasn't lame it had a variety of enemies, weapons and an ok multiplayer and great bosses and levels Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted February 3, 2006 Are you serious? Turok 2 is easily forgettable while Goldeneye is one of the best FPS games of all time (in my humble opinion ) Share this post Link to post
Camel 0 Posted February 3, 2006 perfect dark was the best fps on n64 followed by goldeneye Share this post Link to post
Tree 0 Posted February 4, 2006 Definitly. GoldenEye was #1. PD was a close 2nd. Turok = suck Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted February 4, 2006 Definitly. GoldenEye was #1. PD was a close 2nd. Turok = suck Agreed. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted February 4, 2006 Goldeneye was fun. Even if the controls were iffy.. Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted February 4, 2006 controls "iffy"??? No way dude. That was... in every way... a perfect video game Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted February 4, 2006 Actually, Perfect Dark is slightly better than GoldenEye... not by much but just enough. Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted February 4, 2006 Oh absolutely- same concept, better execution and technology. But you just can't beat the charm and "classicness" of Goldeneye  Share this post Link to post
Tree 0 Posted February 4, 2006 PD's engine moved more fluidly and was graphically amazing. GoldenEye however was more fun to play. Mostly because it was not a new plot. And if you had never seen the movie before, it was still a very easy plot to follow. PD however, seemed a bit too far-fetched, what with the Skedar and such. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted February 4, 2006 Perfect Dark's story was leet. Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted February 5, 2006 very tough decision there on which one was better. I did like PDs multiplayer options in the way of like 30 different bots to chose from and how you could control the bots ingame. However it still dosnt seem to match up with goldeneye in multiplayer. I wonder if Rare will come out with a remake of goldeneye for next gen consoles like they did with Conkers Bad Fur Day. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted February 5, 2006 GoldenEye owns the missions, PD owns the multiplayer. Share this post Link to post
Tree 0 Posted February 5, 2006 Well, that just about summed up my thoughts. Share this post Link to post
rEdaSbLood 1 Posted February 5, 2006 yea true... conquers bad fur day WAS GREAT......LOVED IT..... Share this post Link to post
apocolyp4 0 Posted February 9, 2006 Turok: Rage Wars was a great multiplayer fps on the n64 as it had a ton of options and the controls were far better than both Golden eye's and Perfect Dark's. I did prefer playing 4 player Golden Eye over 4 player Perfect Dark as the levels in Golden Eye were more enjoyable to play e.g the Bunker and Complex levels. Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted February 10, 2006 yeah you cant build on perfection which is what perfect dark tried to do. Share this post Link to post
F15pilotX 4 Posted February 11, 2006 lol, Turok not a fav for any1? I liked goldeneye the best  Share this post Link to post
General Leang 0 Posted February 11, 2006 I would bet even if Goldeneye was remade using the actors from the film, motion capture, real guns, everything you could possibly do to make the game great, people will still go "but it sucks compared to Goldeneye 64. I hate the P90 they've included. The RC-P90 rules. Why do the characters speak now? I hate that. Goldeneye 64 rulz. Ect, ect, ect". Goldeneye was good, but I think I lean more towards Perfect Dark. Rainbow Six is better than both of them but it works better as a PC game. Share this post Link to post
