No it doesn't. Dictionary.com says that a sequel continues a preexisting work. Red Alert doesn't continue the story, it explains it... in a way.

buy them while they had the idea, rather than wait and pay a fortune for the names.....smart. Just because they arent going to use all 20 names htat they bought (or however many) doesnt mean they wont use any of them. Besides, this way, they have the names should htye decide to go back and "complete" the set

A prequel is before, EG Star Wars Ep 1/2/3 are all prequels. Don't they teach anything in schools these days? :roll:

EDIT: If you notice, ea was too busy/lazy to change some of the sites icons (i.e. Firefox), so the Westwood icon is still there

They even released some of the concept work for it. It looked really great.... it would have been the "missing link" between the Red Alert and Tiberian universes

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this to happen with the new title.......

Meh I didn't think it stood a chance anyway. I mean if you compared it with other FPS's released around the same time it wasn't anything special. With perhaps the small exception of the mulitplayer mode but thats about it really.
