Are you kidding me? Star Wars is great, no question, but Dune is in a category all its own, rivaled only by Lord of the Rings.... but Dune is far more orignal and imaginative than even that!

Oh, and Ordos shows up nowhere in the books or movies.

What Dune Encyclopedia? I've read the -entire- series two times through. There is not a single mention of even the word "Ordos".

with the whole C&C3 actors listing, a word came up a few times and that was, Battlestar Galactica. if you guys know a bit about the Battlestar Galactica saga, the original only did one season and go canceled. well now the more modern day adaption of it has gone past season 1, past 2 and is now into season 3. and the show just keeps getting better, i highly recommend that you get out/ perchece the movie(mini TV movie) season 1 and season 2, very dramatic show. and worth the money.

for Si-Fi's, Jericho is starting to become a very good show, and Battlestar Galactica is in its impressive 3rd season, for those of you who dont know, the original Battlestar Galactica only had 1 season, bet became a legend of Si-Fi's, as you might of guessed i just perchance season 2 on dvd. but over all i think Si-Fi's are on the increase at the moment, the only one letdown is that they are lucky to get 1 maybe 2 seasons.

Si-Fi TV out list

Jericho episode 6

jericho episode 7 (air date 11/1/2006)

Battlestar Galactica episode 43

Battlestar Galactica episode 44 (air date 11/3/2006)

I know this is a little off topic, but, I think it's sad how you put Command & Conquer AFTER the word "other." :P

*Enter resident Sith Lord*

Star Wars would deffinetly have gained my vote (250+ novels in the series, plus movies, miniseries, games, collectibles, toys, etc etc, and Boba Fett)

Of course, Stargate is a great series, as is Command & Conquer. Other than those, I havent really gotten to far into a lot of Sci-Fi.

Of course, DUNE has that golden throne for itself already 8)

well now time for my update. and for my second time writing this i accidentally closed the Tab i was working in. now back to what i was saying, i watch all the "Alien Quadrilogy" and bonus features back to back last weekend and have no sleep. every time i watch this saga i still get the chills, now that shows dam good directing and attention to detail. and still no news of an Aliens 5.

Cygnus X-1 good to see you are reading the halo novels, if you enjoy those you will enjoy, Ringworld by Larry Niven. and Alphabear, good to see there are still some fans of the Battletech series. from what i understand is that it's fanbase has shrunk quite a bit over the years, and i also gather there wont be any more games on PC, and that they have made a permanent shift over to the XBOX360, mind you i enjoyed the old PC games.

Anywho back to what i am on about for today.

The Si-Fi i will bring up today is ".hack".

.hack is an online RPG that is set in the near future. this saga has spawned 7 games in US/European countries, and 8 games in japan. this saga has also brought us 5 animae's, 5 books and 1 manga. (in english)

.hack is MMORPG witch is called "the world". the world is set in the near future when all but one internet server is secure, this internet server is called "Altimit". the world starts off really well and becomes really popular, but then this start going wrong, some cases arise where people are in coma's. there also seems to be a connection to these recent events, and the world......

this saga is rather impressive. i will list the order that you should follow it in.

.hack//AI Buster (Book)

.hack//AI Buster 2 (Book)

.hack//SIGN

.hack//Infection (PS2)

.hack//Liminality DVD1

.hack//Another Birth - Infection (Book)

.hack//Mutation (PS2)

.hack//Liminality DVD2

.hack//Another Birth - Mutation (Book)

.hack//Outbreak (PS2)

.hack//Liminality DVD3

.hack//Another Birth - Outbreak (Book)

.hack//Quarantine (PS2)

.hack//Liminality DVD4

.hack//Another Birth - Surrounded (Book)

.hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet (Manga)

.hack//Terminal Disc (Vol. 1 .hack//G.U. collectors edition) (DVD)

.hack//Roots

.hack//G.U. Volume 2: A Voice of You (PS2) (Not out yet)

.hack//G.U. Volume 3: At Walking Distance (PS2) (Not out yet)

this saga is really fun and is worth the look into. and i fully recomend. the soundtracts are equaly as good. :D

well i have now finally have time to catch up on the Si-Fi's, i think i will start off with Jericho.

Since my last post there has been new that Jericho will get a Full season, which is good. Also episode 9, 10 and 11 are now out. that is the last episode for the year, and they will be starting up next February. But don't worry CBS will be putting a lot of online content on their site to keep us interested. :D

Ok now for the Morse code update for the start of each Jericho Episode.

ep1 jericho,jericho

ep2 Jericho fallout

ep3 Jericho three

ep4 He knows Rob

ep5 There is a fire

ep6 The EMP Hits

ep7 pray for nyc

ep8 Rob Not FBI

ep9 AOV SURPRISE (this stand for Area of Vulnerability)

ep10 IT BEGINS WITH

ep11 6 and ends with

so they leave us till febuary with at Morse cliff hanger.

Battlestar Galactica has had a change of day to now play on Sundays, and episode 46 is now out and 47 is out tomorrow night.

the good thing is that Battlestar Galactica will be on until close to Christmas, and starts again almost straight after new years. so that is something to look foward 2. so that will keep me happy while my Girlfriend is traveling USA.

all so some more interesting news, Fox announced Prison break will be back sooner instead of November it will now be coming back in January, on the 29, so we can get the conclusion to season 2 very soon.

in the news of Lost, that wont be back until February next year, and it is still not known weather it will get a complete 3rd season, so lets hope it does so we can end the story, or at lest do it in stile with Nod droping a Tiberuim Warhead on the Island.

i do have more to add to this but i will hold onto it for later.

but in the mean time We will have a lot of C&C3 news this Month to keep us happy with Si-Fi goodness.

What Dune Encyclopedia? I've read the -entire- series two times through. There is not a single mention of even the word "Ordos".

-House Ordos is an insidious mercantile House in the Dune universe as presented in the Westwood Studios games. This House does appear in the Dune Encyclopedia but is never mentioned in the novels.-

Answered your Q?

And The best gotta b things like Night Watch or Underworld cos that could be happening....

Kind of an unheard of series, but one that I think a lot of you guys would like (if you can read) is the StarFist series, Set in 2400's, and written by to retired US marines, its basically written about 25th century marines, and about a million missions and battles and all of that good stuff. As told from the Marines perspective.
