New Renegade X Ingame/CG Trailer

Remember that awesome Renegade X wallpaper we posted a few days ago? If you thought that was great the new Renegade X Ingame/CG Trailer should impress you even more. It features scenes from Complex, Hourglass, and Field. Watch Nod Stealth Tanks, GDI Humvees, GDI APCs, and GDI MRLS battle it out on the fields, see the C&C Renegade we all love with a spectacular graphical overhaul, and witness the Tiberium Meteor crashing into the Tiber River

I mirror that... That trailer was just pure perfect editing! By the time I got half way through I thought to myself... "This makes any official C&C trailer ever made look pants!"

 

I still stand by that statement at the end... The difference between this trailer and many you see from actual companies is that this puts great music, with great visuals and some of the best parts of C&C 95 together to make one hell of an audio/visual experience..

 

If I saw this Trailer and the TIBERIUM trailer together for the first time with no prior knowledge of what they were, other than FPS games.. I'd be more inclined to check out Renegade X.

Anyway, enough TIBERIUM talk, this thread is about Renegade X. The RenX team are making something special here. And that trailer looks so professional you quickly forget its fan made.

In a Nutshell... Definitely. Yes!

 

The explosive action seen in that trailer is certainly something that adds to the gameplay for me anyway. And without a doubt I believe it'll be great to rally the community behind this one... But I'm seeing this as more than just a Graphical overhaul. The UT3 engine can do so much more from a physics and gameplay perspective than the W3D engine and thus it's only going to add to the overall experience. If they manage to get balancing close to perfect as well... then in my opinion we will be looking at a must have total conversion of 2008.

Agreed. This is how Renegade and all C&C related FPS should be like. Kudos to the developers. I am personally going to buy UT3 for this mod. Like i said before, Tiberium to me will just be a rental. And it should be the fans who decide which games developers create.

This is just great. I love the way how did put Kane in the trailer and how the meteor tells the beginning of the C&C era.
