I would love to know which actors will act in RA3 :D

Hopefully the trailer will include some FMV footage.

From what I understand they have been filming the FMV's recently so you never know. As I've said before I really don't care what actors get cast for RA3 as long as they are decent. RA3 doesn't need big name actors just good actors to portray the key characters.

Naa, I bet EA have gone out again and got a bunch of "Hollywood" actors. :) Which, is a good and bad thing.

Mostly a bad thing as we saw from the past C&C3 and KW. With Hollywood actors the time filming was short compared to past C&C game and that one dude couldn't even get out of Hawaii. :P No name actors that can provide the cheesiness (for less money too) is good enough, plus it helps no-name actors out with future careers. :)

But yea, knowing EA on C&C now, expect to see some well known figures, which I guess isn't too bad.

Looking forward to the trailer!

For how many days have they filmed TW? RA3 got 8 days.

Probably something similar I'd imagine. I think I read in some article, Jennifer Morrison did her entire thing in one day or something, so yeah, it doesn't take long.

Oh and I was directed to this site here too: http://www.redalert3.su/ Nothing there though, and eh, I don't see what the fuss is about either.

I'm pretty certain that the C&C3 filming didn't take longer than two days for each actor, so it was pretty rushed. I'm not surprised thought, those actors probably cost a lot of $$$$$.

8 days sound like a lot, but they haven't exactly told us if all the actors will be present during the days, so it is very hard to know if this has any important value.

I have no idea how long it took to shoot KW, but I wouldn't be surprised if they could do one act each day, meaning the actors was only there one day each.

According to the interview with Carl Lumbly, he had about three weeks to prepare for the role as Brother Marcion.

Well I'm expecting a teaser, not footage, nor actors, but I'll be excited none the less.

I doubt either, I believe gben is on the money with it being a teaser. At most all we'll probably see is a CGI sequence the length of Tiberium's. I'm gonna guess this and say it'll probably recreate a modern day style Pearl Harbour.

I wonder if I'll be right? :P

Do you know something that we don't? :P Btw, it's going to be a gameplay trailer.

Oh, well, if it's a gameplay trailer, then all we're gonna see are average Random battles from one of David Silverman's massing sessions with plenty of underwhelming random explosions. No doubt they'll probably throw something in from the Klepacki RA2 library as well. I really don't like those all that much, they stink of laziness in my opinion, and there were too many for C&C 3. At least the team working on Tiberium gave us something great, with some real effort and polish.

My god, I'm being Negative!! But it's true, if developers are going to do trailers, then at least give the consumer something original to shout about! Especially since this is the first real marketing push to appeal to those outside of the community.

Apparently 11:59.59 pm.

I mean, it's 10.42pm (-5) over here and still no sign of the freaking trailer.

So thoughts people, thoughts! Here are mine:

Thoughts:

Pros:

-Elegant selection box

-Nice building animation

-Generally much more fluent and lively animation of units and buildings

- Very nice smoke/fire/light/water effects

-Shadows seem to be improved

-More strategic level design

-The sickle, Kirov, Bullfrog are all awsome as expected

- Nice bomb!

Cons:

-Some crude building/unit models

-Some low-res textures

- Somewhat visually bland level shown

-Why can't the mouse pointer be hidden for trailers? :P

Now to the questions:

Where's the physics? I did not see any craters!

-Are the conyard upgrades as seen on the first screenies (like the radar) gone? Please say no!

- When will there be footage of the EotrS?

-When are we going to see some CGI/FMV scenes/hear some new music?

Overall, I'm very pleased, especially with the effects, but some models leave a bit to be desired.

the water, fire and smoke effects were bloody brilliant. and that nuke-ish thing was epic.

Heh, look's like you were 95% right about the trailer. Nothing overly spectacular here.

And damn, if they're going to use Hell March, can't they use the original? It's so much better.

Well, I don't think there was anything more spectacular needed for us :P We wanted to see RA3 in motion and we did. And it was awsome! (GT rating ranges from 9 to 9.3. I can relate to that).

Imho, there were many cool aspects- Visually, it were the waterwaves, lighting effects, smoke effects, explosions, animations, and gameplaywise, it was the Bullfrog, and the Sickle. Not to mention classic units in 3D...And there's blood, omg!
