Red Alert 3: The Hell March 3 Trailer

Recommended Posts

Here it is, the one everyone's been waiting for. The first trailer to feature the long awaited Hell March 3 has been posted at Gametrailers.com. Check it out below or click here for the HD versions and various other formats of this trailer.

I really like how Hell March 3 sounds, and keep in mind we only get a sample of it in this trailer. The classic Hell March sound is still there. Anyway you be the judge, share you comments to about Hell March 3 with us.

Everyone's a critic, even at the official forums.

There are some said that the style is nearly the same as HM2 but rock & roll remixed. I agree, but I'm sure Frank can do better than that to make it different. So far, I like it. But my rating on it has to drop since the creativity wasn't completely new compare to the morph from last time's HM1 to HM2. After all, everyone's creativity don't last forever.

Overall, I vote it between 3 to 4.5 STARS. My personal rating in this sample is 3.5 .

I'm glad it sounds basically the same, with only a few changed parts. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But like I said, we have only heard the first 30 seconds or so. It should be judged when you hear the full version.

Correction, everyone on the official forums are bunch of moaners, wingers and cry babies. Nothing pleases the horde.

Aw, why do EA have to release trailers of everything before they release the real thing? :(

Also, the cinematics also had sound which ruined the song a bit.

I really liked the trailer, that was really nice even if they recycled a lot of stuff.

As far as HM3 goes though, it was alright I guess. I kind of expected a bit more. At the moment I'm liking that HM remix more than HM3. But it doesn't matter that much. Give me RA3 now!

Hmm, maybe I saw it in another point of perspective. I got that sentence from some people, especially that applies to the Arts department (NOT EA's art department, but about arts of all kinds, like real life art, historical arts, etc.).

The Japanese...

pop out from the ground....

I formally declare Shanigans!!!

The GLA does not recognise their superior Sneak Attack minus the tunnel!!!...

I demand you properly burn the video and shoe the remains...

Afterwards the GLA formally declare war...

um... declare agressive action...

um... neutrality...

alliance...

with angry intent with the Empire of the Rising Sun...

God help those Russian and American Bastards...

I heard very little change from HM2, but that's fine with me. ;)

I'm glad that from what we heard, they haven't added that fighter announcer guy saying, "We want war, wake UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP!" That would bring down the whole song by a star.

Trailer is nice, contains some new cut scenes I haven't seen before.

For Hell March 3, It does sound like a remix of HM2, but I still love it. I wanna hear the whole song before I can rate.

After watching the trailer several times, I noticed that it has the same theme as the Red Alert 2 Intro Movie. "EA Proudly Presents" = "Westwood Proudly Presents"; Japan invasion = Soviet invasion; HM2 = HM3 ; and a some other small connections.

I almost shot myself in excitement when the "EALA proudly presents" still appeared.

actually i can say those 5 seconds during this Proudly Presents having some super great quitar playing in the background and not many noises was the BEST part of the entire trailer!

and the part with the dog and man wacthing the ships comming, there was atmosphear, was pation, was great music and image mixing! Excellent.

00:45-1:10 is the BEST music and video in motion, by far! :headrock: :headrock:

also this is just a trailer and i am glad that we saw the same little expanded videoa Again, cause when i get the game i want to see something new, i hate all the damn spoiler before a game is released!

i like the idea of movie and video game trailer like The dark kNight, sort, not sawing everything, atmosperic music mixing videos up and you dont get a clear view of the entire movie, and you want to see the damn movies so bad, or buy the game. keeping secrets unseen its a secret to the success. trust me.

this trailer was just nice.

But Frank, i am a little dispaointed, i couldent hear clear a melody, there was a TONE of mixing and thats just noise! not music! thats why i said during the logo is the best part cause there is a rytm you wishper and thats cool!, i am not a critic or a crying baby but that my opinion, i cant give it a score cause i havent heared t ALL and full without those Ambient sounds and Sound Effects...... there was a lot of cut and paste in the music too, this was defenetly not the HM3 logic timing, i mean they gave us few seconds of the intro then gone to the main music, then into a sort Kouple, and then jumed to the end! that was a BAD promotion for HM3. i think they should give us a 192kbps MP3 format of the music the full lenght of it so that we may hear it and enjoy it properly.

still the rest of the music themes are fantastic, i belive some are better than HM3! the other team that was workingwith Frank did a really good job! like the credit music in KW.

nice job EALA. 13days left

RA1 had "Westwood Proudly Presents" and HM1.

I actually enjoyed it very much myself. Yea it sounds pretty close to HM2, but HM2 sounded close to HM1 for the first 10-20 seconds.

I'm not going to fully judge until I hear the full thing =)

but so far so good!

Some of you don't understand the concept of a teaser trailer do you. You get just a taste, you want more? Buy the game. Get the Premier Edition and you will get HM3 in full to listen to over and over until your ears bleed.

HM3 sounds like HM2 because that sounds likes HM1. EALA, Frank and the RA3 Audio Team obviously didn't want to change the over sound of Hell March to much because its such a recognisable piece of music.

Or you know, wait till it goes on YouTube or something... I am not going to buy a DRM infested game just to listen to a song :P

I wouldn't either, but I would buy a DRM infested game to get Red Alert 3.

Why does everything have to come back to the whole over blown DRM issue? TheBlackOut, we get it, your not getting RA3. Must you remind everyone in every thread about RA3?

Discuss the trailer and Hell March 3, not DRM.

true enough, i've withdrawn my stance, i will support the dev's even if it means putting up with crap to play a superb game,

Ontopic, HM3 sounds great can't wait to here the full thing

On the subject of "proudly presents"... I'm quite glad such words have been shown. You can actually tell with this game that there is a pride with this game... the quality, the finer details, the acting.... the fact they've strived hard to get a decent music team together... the whole thing is there to try and impress me! :P

No but seriously I'd say this is really the first C&C where they're gonna nail pretty much everything. But no game is perfect. As for other things, Hell March 3 isn't bad. I believe it takes the best of the 2 previous versions and mixes it up into the best package yet. But as Sonic said, if it ain't broke, why fix it? I think if Frank attempted to mess with the formula too much, there would be someone out there who will complain Frank has gone soft, become an EA peon etc. which is a load of bull.... but it probably would happen. In fact I think no matter what Hell March 3 sounded like, a core amount of people were gonna moan about it.

I'm happy with the outcome though.
