ApornasPlanet 9 Posted October 21, 2008 When I was out running earlier today I thought of Germany as fourth side in RA3. Just for fun of course. Now that the Soviet goes back in time too remove Einstein and later goes back to their own timeline, not only The Empire of the Rising Sun would have emerged but also Nazi Germany led by a cyborgified Hitler. So my idea for the fourth side is: Third Rich a.k.a Nazi Germany: Logo: Svastika (removed link to image) Leader: Adolf Hitler with robotic implants, which makes him invulnerable to ageing. Adolf is 100% totally mad and he rules his Rich with a fist of iron. He is super paranoid and believes that anybody could be an assasin, the only one he really trusts is his dog Blondie(also enchanced with robotics). This makes the commander hang on a loose line, because Hitler is very suspicious. Goals of the Third Rich: Primary objectives: *To save the aryan race from extintion. The jews of Europe were erased a long time ago and now Germany only focus on external enemies. But they still wants to eradicate all jews on the globe. *To bring down the dragon of world communism a.k.a. Soviet. *World domination. Secondary objectives: Kill everybody on the globe that's not aryan. Insult the french. Geography: Germany ain't part of the Allied coalition in this universe. Their territory is made up by Germany, Poland, Swiz, Austria, Hungaria, Denmark, Czech and Hungaria. They are allied with Italy(ingame Italy is a german subfaction) and they are temporary allied with The empire of the Rising Sun. Technology: They have few but extremely excellent tanks. Tiger Tank MKIII, Panthzer VI and others. They have an extremley high developed airforce(the best airforce in the entire game!), the Luftwaffe! They use alot of different planes and alot of them are in experimental phase. The wehrmacht is dependant on the Luftwaffe since Luftwaffe is the key to german blitz krieg tactics. Since the timeline is altered, it is Germany that are using V4 rockets, not the soviets. SS Waffen elite forces. They are all crazy and always fights to the last man. Nothing can demoralize them since they will fight to their death for their führer. Wehrmacht. Regular German army. Uses normal infantry, riflemen, grenade launchers and mortars. Their navy focus on submarine warfare. Ocultism. Hitler is very dedicated to the ocult. In Castle Wolfenstein, Nazi scientist are working on ocult experiments on soldiers. Their ambition is to create super soldiers(see the movie "The Outpost). From their experments comes alot of different soldier types. Everything from Zombies to super fast crazy nazi cyborgs. They use alot of different chemical weapons on the battlefield, all kinds of poisonous gases n'****. Sub-factions: Germany have no true allies but Italy since their ambition is world domination(eventualy they will probably anex Italy). Thus Italy is one of the sub factions. Other sub factions are: Luftwaffe Commander(specializes in air combat), Wehrmacht Commander, Ocult Commander and SS Waffen Commander. In their campaign they are very irrational in choosing were to attack since RoboHitler is all crazy. I believe this would make a funny to play forth faction and it fits with Red Alert3s lore. Please add ideas! =) Share this post Link to post
Aexilus 0 Posted October 21, 2008 Could work... But tone down stuff people might be offended by. Share this post Link to post
ApornasPlanet 9 Posted October 21, 2008 Yeah maybe tone down on that. It can be a government secret. Poor unknowing German people(and German Commanders as well). Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted October 22, 2008 Hitler is already gone from the time line in RA1 Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 40 Posted October 22, 2008 What is with people and Nazis being in Red Alert? Do you ****ers have a fetish for this? WHAT IN HOLY HELL? I've seen it done well once and that was a Chinese YR mod! Share this post Link to post
ApornasPlanet 9 Posted October 22, 2008 Hitler is already gone from the time line in RA1 Well in RA3 the Soviets goes back in time and Kills Einstein and if Einstein is killed he can't go back in time and kill Hitler. Well Destiny, I don't know, certainly not a fetish. I just thought it might be fun.^^ A Germany dealing with the ocult like in the Wolfenstein games. Share this post Link to post
spark 0 Posted October 22, 2008 (edited) Could it be that the Soviets went back in time to kill Einstein after he already killed Hitler much earlier? Edited October 22, 2008 by spark Share this post Link to post
Quadhelix 0 Posted October 22, 2008 Well in RA3 the Soviets goes back in time and Kills Einstein and if Einstein is killed he can't go back in time and kill Hitler. I am not sure that time travel works that way. The Einstein that the Soviets kill is not the Einstein that killed Hitler, so killing Einstein does not restore Hitler. The reason that I say this is as follows: some Einstein traveled back in time and killed Hitler. However, since Hitler died in the Red Alert universe before doing anything of note, there is no reason for that Einstein to travel back and kill him. Therefore, it had to be a different Einstein who killed Hitler. Share this post Link to post
hagren 0 Posted October 22, 2008 No. Hitler can't be in RA3, since Einstein created an entirely new timeline by kiling him, making him non-existent. I would like to see an RTS with some crazy Na.zis though. Doctor Destiny: Don't insult those who find Na.zis in games intriguing. I think people like to see them as villains since their party did such evil things that they've become very powerful and intimidating. Share this post Link to post
BioBen 3 Posted October 23, 2008 Yeah red alert **** with your head, with all the timeline crap. but it works/ PS. Why "Na.zis" rather than Nazis? Share this post Link to post

Specifically it's bringing them into the C&C universes that's the problem. I can't stand it and it aggravates me to no end. Share this post Link to post
Keero 0 Posted October 29, 2008 Nazi's belong in Company of Heroes and in shooters. We'd rather have a bald guy rather than one with a robotic mustache. Share this post Link to post

sith_wampa 6 Posted October 31, 2008 No. Hitler can't be in RA3, since Einstein created an entirely new timeline by kiling him, making him non-existent. The Soviets went back to 1927 to eliminate Einstein. 1945 was when Einstein went back to when Hitler had been let out of prison. So really, Hitler has a better chance of showing up in this new timeline. Although many scientific breakthroughs made by Einstein at the time wouldn't have been expanded upon by the Germans for their technology. Timeline is cluster****ed at this point. >_< Share this post Link to post

Well I can't think it though so I am just ending this here so I don't care if their time is messed up as long as mine is not. Edited December 14, 2008 by Mobbob311 Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted December 15, 2008 Confusing timelines is par for the course... I don't know why everyone complains about it. Once you start time travelling... all bets are off! We can never comprehend the consequences of altering timelines, the only way to effectively and coherrantly do time travel is a time bubble of observation and not interaction... but that's only fun for historians not advernturers. Malevolence 6 Posted December 18, 2008 I'm not sure if adding a fourth faction would seem nice... whazzup with hitler going robotic? Share this post Link to post
