I wondering, Many people have disappeared since I first joined the forums last year. When I first joined, many people were here. Then they left. General Leang dissappeared. Deadeye dissappeared (I think i saw him before). J-Fireman's dissapeared. Our community spammer Luk3us had dissapeared. Where are all the Old Members????? Where di they go????? :?: :?:

simple, people who joined in 2003 are the first generation CNCZ members. people in 2004 are the second generation, like Bware, u Cygnus, and me. The 3rd generation joins in 2005, like mina, demon, acerz.....based on the current 3rd generation members, i'm not so sure i want to see any more....

 

The 1st generation member had the most interesting and constructive stuff...they were modders and veterans..but the younger generation has nothing to post but MORE SPAM. we 2nd generation are in between....

 

well, there were some 1st generation exceptions.....like that luk3us...

Not all 2nd generation guys are in between. I contributed to the modding section for half my time here before I went to the other areas. F00.

I disagree. There are several gen 1 members from other places that are horrible people.

Ive been posting on these forms since around 2000 and I started becoming an active member of the community in 2001 when I started making mods for Tibsun.

 

I took a year out of the community just after Generals was released so that I could focus on my studies at the time.

 

There are only a few of us that have stayed over the years and posted here. I remember when the regulars were Me, shadow kerphin, kingofall, tank killer, rouge leader, sonic, C&C king, area, phreakly and a few others. Does anyone here still remeber the famous Druken Stupour thread?

So what are the generation known as in the pre-2000 era? I've been in these forums back as far as the TSNNZ days 7 years ago..... That's a hell of a lot of forum hours :shock:

 

Ahh yes the Druken Stupour thread, it was the thread that never ended..... well it did eventually

 

Classic History. Those were crazy days... Quite amusing was that thread never had so many moderations gone into that. It was certainly a 24/7 moderators hell, but very fun... never again will we see such a mindless thread where whole conversations would go on and on for several pages at a time, before someone changed the topic, and continue on something completely different.

It started off with a forum member who's not here anymore asking what were the stupid things we had done when we were drunk. That stayed on topic for about 4 pages, and then went off topic...

 

But we didn't close it because it did hold some very interesting conversation. It was the most diverse thread that covered absolutely everything from the drunken stupors of the forum members, then to intelligent conversation, jokes, stories, drama, and downright pointless psychobabble. an uber spammer's paridise.

 

It was several threads rolled into one... This thread would of been luk3us' idea of absolute heaven

Awww, hey, take it easy on us 3rd generation people :lol: Perhaps I should've introduced myself a little more properly, but hey, I saw this site, thought, 'woah, a CNC site run by a NZer, with other NZer's within?' and joined up. I don't mean to spam as much as I seem to, I just happen to be on the computer and more attentive to the forums more often that some people. Sorry if that made me seem like a rude person or something.

Hell, I'm outta school waiting till the end of the year for my career to start, better get used to me before you guys don't see me at all And at least I try and make sense some of the time :lol:

I am still here. I just rarely think to come here as other interests come up. If there is a topic that I wish to discuss then by all means I will, but I do take things quieter as I choose to avoid sensitive topics such as politics and current events.
