Even if it were the case that today's spelling is somehow worse than it was, I don't think it would contribute to you reading the text in that picture.

Don't see how that second pic is in any way worth being on a humour site. IIRC those are parasites about to burst out of the insect.

The implication of the image - that the bug is full to bursting with parasites, may be less disgusting than the truth - that it is actually one parasite and a pile of poop.
