yes but it had its rootrs in the middle east, then became european, based in Italy, and now its....still based in Italy. Run by a bunch of elderly folks that knew how to run the church at 99% efficiency back in 30's

 

but as for now.....the church leaders seem to be clueless. At least somewhat.

The pope only became the pope when the Bishop of Rome kept the Roman citizens from being exterminated by the Vandals and other Germanaic tribes when the invades Rome around A.D. 450. After that, the people regarded him as a messenger/representative of God on earth.

 

The the "universal church" became corrupted in the middle ages by people who had been force to follow the religion, and who just manipulated the church for their selfish selves and eventually all of the above changed the religion's beliefs on how to get to heaven completely :wink:

Wow, surely I never expected that there are many atheists in europe. However, things can't exist without the creator. The reason why we must obey God is because God is the creator. Why do people create robots do you think. To serve and to obey human isn't it, so do us, we must serve and obey God. One day, when humanoid robots have grown into a powerfull machine which can think dinamicly, they might become atheis, betraying their creator, in this case human. And ofcourse, when a robot betrayed it's createor/human, the creator will send a fiery punishment, kinda like sins. Just like God punish God's creations for their sins.

Hmm............no majopr things as far as I know, we are the perfect race compared to other race like monkey, lol. However, our brain could be a poison to our life, with, human brain can create both bad and good things.

Not so much in physical ways but in the abstract. Cygnus is referring more to human nature, which is very flawed. Backstabbing/unloyalty, greedy behavior and a disregard for other life... I'd consider those flaws in the human psyche.
